MICHIGAN (9&10 New).- he fire broke out in a home on Mosser Street near Downtown Cadillac.

Firefighters arrived on scene to find the male resident trapped in an upstairs room and hanging out the window.

Three Cadillac firefighters climbed a ladder to the window and carried him down to safety.

Due to the home's construction, hidden fires caused the roof to collapse, leaving only two unstable chimneys standing.

When the floor began to give way, the firefighters pulled out of the interior of the home to work from outside.
